Her extensive experience across multiple sectors led to a Cert IV Business accreditation in addition to a Cert IVTravel and Tourism. Jamie-Lee then set off and spent a year travelling in Canada, working a managerial role for Big White Chalets, a holiday rental company where she supervised high-end Chalet cleans and preparations for incoming guests. After the ski season concluded, she moved onto Blue River, BC, working as a tour guide on the mountain and taking guests to view the local tourist favorites - the Black Bears. Returning home to the Gold Coast, Jamie-Lee gained practical plastering experience after securing a 6-month plastering role.  To keep her business skills current, she undertook bookkeeping and administrative projects for contract clients.  it was during this time that Jamie-Lee created the unique concept that is now "Jimmy-Can".

Throughout her life - personally and professionally - the driving force behind her success and happiness was her love of people, of providing outstanding customer service, and generally helping others. With the creation of Jimmy-Can, she was able to use all her skills and life joys to build a business that brings daily satisfaction by helping families with the full spectrum of Jimmy-Can services and an extra set of hands to make her customers' lives just that little bit easier.
