WHO IS JIMMY
Port Macquarie born and raised with a natural affinity towards sun, sand and sea – as the daughter of an army mechanic, Jamie-Lee experienced an army lifestyle residing on barracks in Victoria before relocating to Brisbane, Sydney and then the Gold Coast. A professional jack of all trades – Jamie-Lee kickstarted her work experience in the retail and hospitality sectors before branching out into the business world, pursuing administrative roles that fuelled her entrepreneurial passion.
Jamie-Lee's extensive experience across multiple sectors has earned her a Cert IV in Business and a Cert IV in Travel and Tourism. Her journey began with a year of travel in Canada, where she worked as a manager for Big White Chalets, overseeing high-end chalet cleans and guest preparations. After the ski season, she moved to Blue River, BC, working as a tour guide, taking guests to see local attractions like the Black Bears.
Returning to the Gold Coast, Jamie-Lee gained practical plastering experience in a six-month role and kept her business skills current by undertaking bookkeeping and administrative projects for contract clients. During this time, Jamie-Lee conceived the unique concept that is now "Jimmy Can Clean".
Throughout her life, both personally and professionally, Jamie-Lee's success and happiness have been driven by her love of people, outstanding customer service, and helping others. With Jimmy-Can, she has harnessed all her skills and passions to create a business that brings daily satisfaction by helping families with the full spectrum of Jimmy Can Clean services, making her customers' lives easier.
